Bad roads are the story today

Today in the media lab, I spent time posting stories to heritage.com and to Facebook, and tweeting them out.

Even though I have been productive, I feel like I am behind today. That may be because my commute took close to 90 minutes instead of the usual 35 minutes. The roads were horrible around Washtenaw County today with numerous reports of whiteout conditions and accidents.

According to reports, the worst of it seemed to be in the Ann Arbor area going north on US-23 around Milan and on southbound US-23 from Brighton into Ann Arbor.  According to traffic reports as I drove into Ypsilanti, another bad spot was out on I-94 in the Chelsea area.

The weather caused a horrible fatal crash along I-75 in Detroit where, according to The Oakland Press, four people were killed and 20 were injured.
