Politics, politics, politics

‘Tis the season when politics dominate. As a political junkie, I enjoy the presidential give and take, but I have to admit even I am burned out. Let’s just vote already!

Local elections also loom large as Nov. 6 approaches. Some may even argue the results of these elections will have a greater impact on us than the national races. Depending what is on your local ballot, that may be true. As part of the election process, today we  had a staff meeting here in the Community Media Lab to plan our election coverage. Election Day promises to be long, but I think it also will be exciting as our news team works to get all the election results in the paper.

Although I am tiring of the presidential race, I plan to vote. I also want my voice heard on the state and local races and ballot issues. My parents believed that if you don’t vote, don’t complain.  I agree and I will complain!
