Parking in downtown Ypsilanti

While parking in downtown Ypsilanti is nowhere near the problem that it is in other areas, it can still be difficult to find a spot at times. Honestly, I was unaware of the options and I think a few other people are as well because of I have heard of some getting parking tickets. So, here are the places where parking is available:

First and foremost, here is where the free parking is available:

Ferris Street: Adams to Huron streets

Riverside Lot

 

Free after 6 p.m., weekends

City Hall Lot

Riverside Arts Lot

 

Two hour metered, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., $.75/hour

Washtenaw Avenue: Hamilton to  Adams streets

Adams Street: Ferris Street  to Washtenaw Avenue

Michigan Avenue: Ballard to Adams streets

Washington Street: Ferris Street to Michigan Avenue; Pearl Street to Washtenaw Avenue

Huron Street: Michigan Avenue to Pearl Street

North Adams Lot

 

Free two hour parking; 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Michigan Avenue, from Adams to Huron streets

North Huron Lot

 

Ten-hour metered; 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., $0.75/hour

Washington Lot
